About Kidways

Kidways is a place on the Kobuk River in Northwest Alaska where the river flows between the Baird and Waring Mountains. The Western Arctic caribou herd migrates through the area and Sheefish run in the river. Helvi's family gathered there to camp, hunt and fish. It's a place where they regroup in beauty and solitude.
